Farah Ishtiyaque is the creative force behind Keratin Matters. She is a NY based, licensed manicurist, specializing in Japanese and Korean gel systems. She is an Après certified Gel  expert, and offers seamless soft-gel extensions aka claws to her clients!!

She has learnt her brush stroke + art skills at Vanity Projects Institute, under the tutelage of JNA master Kanae Yagi. She loves a good challenge of creating intricate art on nail surfaces (shorties and longies, all are welcome here!).

Its her passion for nail-art that inspired her to conceive Keratin Matters. She wants to connect with nail artists all over the world, share their origin and success stories and in turn get inspired to create more art!
